The Macedonian Railways Transport JSC - Skopje has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Railways Reform Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of Procurement of new Four-axle Flat Bed Rail Wagons.

The Russian Federation has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Health Reform Implementation Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the contract for ambulances and equipment for emergency care services of Voronezh Oblast and Chuvashia Republic.

The Russian Health Care Foundation, acting on the behalf of the Administration of Voronezh Oblast and the Cabinet of Ministers of Chuvashia Republic, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for contract No. 4685/A.2/04 for the supply of ambulances and equipment for emergency care services. The package will include the following lots:

  • Lot No. 1: Ambulance for transportation of patients and rendering emergency aid for Voronezh Oblast (1 vehicle)
  • Lot No. 2: Resuscitation type ambulance, complete with equipment, for transportation of patients and rendering emergency care for Voronezh Oblast (2 vehicles)
  • Lot No. 3: Ambulance, complete with equipment, for transportation of patients not requiring emergency aid for Voronezh Oblast (1 vehicle)
  • Lot No. 4: Resuscitation type ambulance, complete with equipment, for transportation of patients and rendering emergency care for Chuvashia Republic (2 vehicles).

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (January 1995, revised January and August 1996, September 1997, and January 1999), and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.

Bidders may bid for either or all lots. Bids shall be submitted for complete quantities within each lot. Evaluation of bids and award of contracts will be made on a lot-by-lot basis.

Bidders and subcontractors proposed by the bidder shall meet the following qualification requirements:

(i) The bidder and subcontractors proposed by the bidder shall have a minimum of five years’ experience in supply and/or manufacturing of equipment and services they offer to supply.
(ii) The bidder and subcontractors proposed by the bidder shall have during the last three years at least two completed contracts for supply and/or manufacturing of equipment and services of the nature and scope equivalent to those for the supply of which the invitation for bids is issued.


Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Russian Health Care Foundation at the address below, from 1000 to 1700 office hours (Moscow time). A complete set of bidding documents in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$ 150 (including VAT) or in Russian ruble (RUR) equivalent, converted at the exchange rate fixed by the Bank of Russia on the date of payment. The Russian Federation has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Tuberculosis and AIDS Control Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for the vehicles for regional centers.

The Russian Health Care Foundation (RHCF), acting as Project Implementation Unit forthis loan, on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation (MOHSD) and the Federal Penitentiary Service (FPS), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of the goods destined for various MOHSD organizations located in selected regions of the Russian Federation. The scope of supply will involve 20 (twenty) lots of equipment as follows:

Evaluation of bids and award of contracts shall be made on a lot-by-lot basis. The delivery period is 12 weeks for all lots from the contract signing.

Bidders shall have: (i) a minimum of five years experience in manufacturing and/or supply of equipment and services for which they are proposed, (ii) during the last three years at least two completed contracts for manufacturing and/or supply of equipment and services of a nature and volume equivalent to the goods supply for which the Invitation for Bids is issued, and (iii) at least one service center in each regional centre to which the vehicles to be supplied.
